Spring time is here and the weather is getting warmer! Let’s say goodbye to the cold weather blues and get motivated to work out and get in shape, or set a new fitness goal! Let’s be honest, its hard to be motivated sometimes when its cold outside. Grabbing those running shoes and layering up to bare that cold run is a less appealing then the sweat pants and curling up to watch Netflix.
Excuse time is over now! Confidence Martial Arts challenges you to get out and try something new! Join a gym, try at martial arts class, or find a friend to start running with. Whatever it is you have been wanting to try, not to steal Nike’s tag line, but, just do it. Don’t let excuses hold you back, because you lost the cold weather excuse. Who doesn’t want to be out side right now!?
A great starting place is the Healthy Living Festival on Saturday, April 16th at the Battleship Park! Confidence Martial Arts will be there with some of our very talented students showing people how to stay fit and active through martial arts! There will be other vendor there from fitness to food, so lots to learn and see about living a healthy lifestyle! Come out and have a great time and bring the whole family, sometimes your not sure what to do next to stay active and this event could give you some new insight and some great new goals!
Let’s not forget that martial arts is a great way to get in and stay in shape! You get to learn self defense, work on flexibility and core training, and its also a great way to relieve stress. Also, if you train at Confidence Martial Arts we give individualized attention and truly care about your health. You can sign up for a gym membership any day, but then your usually on your own unless you pay extra for a personal trainer. Well, with martial arts you get an instructor as your personal trainer at no extra cost!
