Get Ready for Riverfest 2017!
Riverfest is now fast approaching and we are getting geared up to make this year’s event a remarkable success! It will be hosted in the beautiful historic downtown Wilmington on October 7th and 8th. During this weekend, we will have no regularly scheduled classes at the school. We encourage all our students to come out and enjoy what our community has to offer at the Riverfest this year and support your Martial Arts School! We need your help!
This is where our awesome parents and students come in! Child students must be accompanied by their parent. We have a sign-up sheet at the front table in the school where you can volunteer to help with the booth at Riverfest. We are offering all parents and students that help with the booth a FREE 30 minute private lesson to be used by anyone in their family. Water will be provided as well at the event for all volunteers!
Students will need to sign up for stage times. This especially means all our LEGACY program students! We look to you as leaders in both our school and community so we expect that most of you will sign up to do the stage demonstrations on both Saturday and Sunday. We will be showcasing all our school’s talents including forms, weapons, board breaks, sparring, and self-defense. Please sign in with your name and preferred category to demonstrate on the Riverfest stage asap!
We are looking toward having a wonderful time at this year’s Riverfest with the rest of our Wilmington community and we want to share with them the positive impact that Martial Arts can have on their lives. Let’s work together to create a more safe, respectful, and courteous community and show everyone how we help create tomorrow’s leaders… one black belt at a time!
