Confidence Martial Art would like you to meet one of our newest 1st degree black belts in Taekwondo… Mr. Thomas Steele! Mr. Steele has been training with us since he was only 6 years old. Now, at the age of 9, his hard work and dedication have paid off and he has achieved the rank of 1st degree black belt decided.  Mr. Steele started doing taekwondo with his little brother Daniel Steele and they have been able to go on their dynamic journey together and even get their black belts at the same time! We are so proud of Mr. Thomas Steele’s journey here at our academy, you can really see the focus and dedication in his eyes when he is training several days a week! Mr. Steele makes a great role model for his younger brother and for other young kids who aspire for greatness.

Q: What is your favorite part about being a black belt? Why?
A: I like my for because it is challenging. Q: What is your SHORT term taekwondo goal? A: My short term goal is to learn at least half of my black belt form.

Q: What is your LONG term taekwondo goal?
A: My long term goal is to learn how to count to 20 in Korean!

Q: What is your favorite weapon to use? Why? A: Ssahng jeol bong!    

Q: How old were you when you start Taekwondo? Why did you start?
A: I was 6 years old and I think I started for exercise? My mom made me.

Q: Tell us a fun fact about you! (Not related to taekwondo)
A: I like art!!! Mr. Thomas Steele is such a great student to have in class, he tries hard and sets a great example to our other students. His confidence in himself is the biggest improvement since he started almost 3 years ago, and what can be better than that for a kid! Along side his brother, Thomas and Daniel, make a pretty awesome team of dynamic martial artist. We know that Thomas will continue to work hard and train as a black belt, and he has a great future in taekwondo… who knows maybe we will even see him leading a class one day!
